The TG Series is a two-chuck tube laser for 6.3 m stock lengths, processing round tube and pipe, RHS and SHS from 10 mm to 350 mm at 1.5 to 12 kW.

Three models cover the range: the TG6012 to 120 mm and 100 kg per length, the TG6020 to 230 mm and 300 kg, and the TG6035 to 350 mm and 900 kg. All three share the 6.3 m bed, so model selection is determined by section size and weight.

Key features

Fibre laser source, 1.5 to 12 kW

Fibre laser source specified between 1.5 and 12 kW according to the wall thickness and section size in production. Higher power reduces pierce and cut time on heavy-wall section; lower power is sufficient for thin-wall tube and pipe.

Chuck configuration and loading options

Chuck configuration and loading arrangement are specified to the section lengths and batch volumes in production. Automatic bundle loading is available where volume justifies it; the machine can also be supplied for manual loading.

45 mm tail remnant

Chuck stroke and cutting sequence reduce the unusable remnant at the end of each length to 45 mm. Material yield per bar is increased on every length processed.

Round, square, rectangular, oval, channel and angle sections

Round tube, SHS, RHS, oval tube, channel and angle are processed on the same self-centring chuck system without mechanical changeover. Section geometry is handled in the program rather than by operator setup.

High-rigidity horizontal bed

Heavy-duty horizontal bed frame with a load capacity of up to 900 kg per length on the TG6035. Cutting stability is maintained when large-diameter tube is rotated at speed.

Enclosed cutting area (optional)

A full enclosure over the cutting area is available as an option to contain sparks and cutting debris. All machines are supplied with guarding to Australian workplace safety requirements as standard, with the full enclosure specified where the site requires it.

Concave roller supports with automatic height adjustment

Concave roller supports adjust height automatically in step with the chuck system to carry the tube along its full length. Sag and swing on long lengths is prevented, holding cut accuracy at the far end of the bar.
