Our Story
Industrial Machinery Sales and Service Pty Ltd was founded in Adelaide in 1985 by Brian George, who built the business from the ground up with a single mission — to bring the world’s best steel fabrication and processing machinery to Australian industry, backed by genuine local service and support.
Ben George, Brian’s son, has owned and led the business for the past 15 years, continuing the family tradition of deep technical knowledge, honest advice and long-term customer relationships. Today IMS is one of Australia’s leading suppliers of CNC beam lines, fibre lasers, bandsaws and fabrication equipment — representing world-class brands including Daito, AORE, Cosen, Accurl, Technomark, Toptec and more.
Based in Regency Park, Adelaide, we operate a large warehouse and working showroom where customers can inspect machinery before they buy. Our in-house field service technicians provide installation, training and ongoing support — and we carry genuine spare parts for every brand we represent.
We deliver machinery Australia wide, with customers in every state and territory ranging from small fabrication shops to large structural steel contractors and manufacturing operations.
