The Forklift Sheet Storage Tower stores sheet on ten drawer levels that a forklift loads and unloads directly. Sleepers on each pallet let the forks locate cleanly, so material goes in and out without a crane and without an operator handling the sheet. It suits shops that run on forklifts rather than overhead cranes and want the density of drawer storage anyway.

Loaded by forklift, no crane needed
Not every shop has an overhead crane over its material store. Here the forks do the work, so drawer-style density is available in a building that was never set up for craneage.
Sleepers locate the forks every time
Each pallet carries sleepers that the forks engage against, so the driver is not judging the entry by eye and the sheet is not being scraped along the deck. That is what keeps a forklift-served rack from damaging material.
Ten levels in one footprint
Ten drawer levels at 3.5 metres tall puts a lot of separated stock over a small floor area. Each level takes 2 tonne, so it is real working stock rather than a display rack.
Layer heights from 50 to 200 mm
Clear height per level is set between 50 and 200 mm, so thin gauge gets a shallow level and heavy plate a deep one. Nothing is wasting a full drawer of air above two sheets.
Gets the sheet off the floor
Sheet stacked on the floor gets walked on, driven over and buried. On levels it stays flat, stays identified and stays reachable, which usually shows up first as less material written off than expected.
