Sheet storage tower with automatic loading and retrieval
The Automatic Sheet Storage Tower stores sheet vertically and moves it in and out on its own. The operator selects the material at the touch screen and the tower brings that layer down and presents it. Nobody climbs a rack, nobody digs through a stack, and the whole thing occupies a fraction of the floor the same tonnage would take stacked flat. It works as a storage system in its own right, and can be integrated with a cutting line later.

Loads and retrieves under its own control
This is not a rack that something else fills. The operator selects the grade and thickness at the touch screen and the tower stores or retrieves that layer itself, running on a linear guide rail and chain under PLC control.
Thirteen layers of stock on one footprint
Up to thirteen floors of sheet stand in the space one flat stack would take. In a shed where floor area is the constraint on adding another machine, that recovered space is usually worth more than the tower costs.
Weighs the layer as it goes in
The tower detects weight automatically on storage, so the system knows what is on each layer rather than relying on someone updating a spreadsheet. That is the difference between a storage system and a stocktake.
Material goes in the way your shop already works
Stock is brought to the tower by forklift or overhead crane, and from there the tower handles it. Layers are rated at 3 or 5 tonne depending on what you stack.
Fast enough to keep a laser fed
Nine metres a minute vertically and twelve in and out means a sheet change is measured in seconds rather than the ten minutes a forklift round trip takes. Over a shift of changeovers that is real machine time recovered.
