The LCS is a servo-driven cantilever loading system that picks sheet from the stack and places it on the laser table without operator guidance.
It suits regular production where faster handling is required without the footprint or cost of a storage system.
Key features
Picks and places the sheet for you
A vacuum frame lifts raw sheet from the stack and places it on the laser table. Crane movements are removed from the cycle and manual lifting from the operator’s shift.
Timed to the laser's cycle
The servo system runs to the laser’s production cycle rather than to operator timing. The interval between one sheet finishing and the next starting is shortened and held consistent.
Rigid servo-driven frame
A high-strength cantilever frame with servo transmission controls travel and places the sheet in the same position on every cycle. Repeatability is maintained across multi-shift operation.
Monitored handling cycle
Sensors and interlocks monitor pickup, rotation and placement through the cycle. Guarding around the working zone is specified to the floor layout and supplied with the machine to Australian workplace safety requirements.
Loading arm, loading system, or storage tower?
The LCS sits between a manual cantilever arm and a full storage and loading system. Selection is determined by sheets per shift and the current loading method.
