The Cosen SH-460M, SH-500M and SH-650M are semi-automatic horizontal bandsaws with a swivel head that locks and cuts at any angle from 0 to 60 degrees. Hydraulic frame lift with return to a preset height, a full stroke hydraulic vice and carbide blade guides are standard on all three, so the operator loads, clamps and starts the cut and the saw completes the cycle.

They suit general fabrication and structural workshops cutting angle, channel, tube and RHS one piece at a time with frequent angle changes. The SH-460M is the light machine for small shops, the SH-500M the mid-size unit, and the SH-650M the large-capacity saw for heavier structural work.

Key features

Swivel head to 60 degrees

The saw head swivels on a precision pivot and locks at any angle from 0 to 60 degrees, with positive stops at 0, 45 and 60 and the angle read from a scale in clear view. Repeat angles are set without measuring and a change of angle takes seconds.

Full stroke hydraulic vice

The vice clamps through its full stroke hydraulically, so any section within capacity is held without repositioning the jaw. Loading and clamping take the same time whatever the size on the job.

Hydraulic frame lift and return

The saw frame is lifted hydraulically and returns to a preset height after each cut, with feed rate and cutting pressure set on separate valves. The operator loads and starts; the saw feeds, stops at the end of the cut and lifts clear for the next piece.

Slotted table with coolant return

The table is slotted for the blade at the common mitre angles and drains coolant back to the tank. Cut pieces sit flat at any angle and coolant stays in the machine rather than on the floor.

Carbide blade guides

The blade runs in interchangeable tungsten carbide guides with bearing pre-alignment, and a wire brush clears the teeth. Cut squareness holds at 60 degrees, and guides are replaced as inserts rather than assemblies.

Vice pressure regulator

An optional regulator sets vice clamping pressure anywhere from zero to full system pressure on a gauge. Thin-wall tube and soft material are held without distortion, and the setting is repeated from the gauge reading.

SH-460M for light fabrication

The smallest of the three cuts 250 mm round and 230 x 460 mm on a 1.5 kW motor and 27 mm blade in a 1.4 x 1.9 m footprint. A small workshop gets hydraulic cycle and full stroke clamping at the size and price of a manual saw.

SH-650M for structural section

The largest of the three cuts 420 mm round and 380 x 650 mm on a 3.75 kW motor and 34 mm blade. Beam, channel and heavy RHS are mitred on a semi-automatic saw without stepping up to a dual-column machine.
