ProStore Cantilever Profile Racking
Roll-out cantilever racking, mechanical or electric
Cantilever profile racks for holding bars, tubes, angles and sections on arms or bins, and these cantilever arms roll all the way out. The full layer comes clear of the frame so a crane or forklift can take any length off the top without dragging it over the material behind. Single and double sided models are available, manual or with electric drive, PLC controlled.
Key features
Arms come fully out, so the crane can reach
The layer extends completely clear of the frame, so a length is lifted straight up rather than dragged sideways over the bundle behind it. That is what stops the scratching and the bent ends that come from working a fixed cantilever with a crane.
No aisle for a forklift to turn in
Because material is taken by crane from directly above, the rack does not need the wide aisle a forklift would. In a long narrow shed that difference can be the whole reason the racking fits.
Up to 42 tonne in one rack
Layer ratings run from 2 to 6 tonne and a double-sided rack carries up to 42 tonne in total. That is serious structural stock in a single footprint, sorted by size instead of stacked in the yard.
Manual or electric, single or double sided
Manual suits lighter layers and lower turnover. Electric drive with PLC frequency control suits heavy layers and constant use. Double sided doubles capacity where the rack can be accessed from both faces.
Sorted by size, with somewhere for the offcuts
Material is stored by type and size across the layers, and trays can be fitted for remnants. Short lengths having a home is usually what stops them being cut from new bar.
Is the ProStore Cantilever Profile Racking right for your workshop?
Tell us your longest section, the heaviest bundle you hold and the space the rack has to fit. We will size the bins, the layers and the length around that, and tell you whether electric drive earns its place.

| Storage length | 6000 / 9000 / 12000 mm |
| Bin size | 600 x 600 mm typical |
| Number of layers | 3 + 1 or 4 + 1 |
| Single or double sided | Either |
| Load per layer | Built to the material, commonly 2 to 6 tonne |
| Arm extension | 100 percent, full layer clear of the frame |
| Drive | Mechanical, or electric with frequency conversion control |
| Operation | One person |
| Other sizes | Layers to 800, 1000 ,1200 mm supplied, other lengths routine |
These are the sizes we build most, not the limits of what we build. Bin size, layer count, load rating and rack length are all made to the material you carry — we have supplied bins at 800, 1000, 1200 mm, and lengths outside this range are routine. Tell us your longest section, the heaviest bundle you hold and the space you have, and we will size it around that.
