The Daito NA700 is a fully automatic bandsaw purpose-built for high-volume cutting of bundled pipe, tube, angle, flat bar and other profiles. Its yoke-type vertical vices secure the full width of the pack, while the index vice provides an 800 mm shuttle stroke, or 3000 mm as an option, for accurate automatic feeding.
It is designed for steel merchants, tube processors and manufacturers that need to cut complete bundles efficiently using programmed lengths and quantities.

Material Feeding Without Surface Rubbing
During material feeding, the index, main and front vices open from both sides. This reduces unnecessary contact with the material and helps minimise surface marking.
8° Saw Frame with Larger Band Wheels
The saw frame is set at 8°, allowing the blade to enter the pack progressively. Band wheels enlarged by 13 percent support blade stability, cutting accuracy and blade life.
Vice-Linked Saw Guide
An optical detector finds the top of the material, so the blade does not descend through air before reaching the pack. With no contact parts, there is nothing to wear or adjust.
Material Top Detector
A non-contact optical detector identifies the top surface of the material before cutting. Compared with a mechanical detector, it needs less routine adjustment and has no contacting sensor subject to wear.
Programmed Lengths and Quantities
Cut lengths, sets and quantities are entered on the LCD touch panel, and the next program can be entered while the machine is cutting. Bundles are cut to the programmed schedule without re-entering data between jobs.

Capacity and options are confirmed against the sections and bundle sizes at quotation. Guarding is supplied to Australian workplace safety requirements as standard. A transformer to suit Australian three-phase supply is supplied with the machine. IMS holds Daito parts in Australia and services the machine with its own technicians.
