The GR PRO Series is AORE's large-format plate laser, built for plate that will not fit on a standard machine. The rail runs on the floor rather than the frame, so the cutting area can be extended to suit the work, from 2550 to 4050 mm wide and 12.5 m long as standard, with longer beds available. It is the machine for shipbuilding, heavy construction and structural work where full-size plate is the norm.

Thick plate cutting

6 to 60 kW of laser power gives deep penetration on heavy plate at production speed. Edge quality holds through the full section thickness, which reduces dressing before weld prep.

Large-format operating area

Processing formats to 4050 x 12500 mm take full commercial plate without nesting across two sheets. Cutting width is specified at order to suit the plate sizes you buy rather than fixed to a standard bed.

Intelligent nesting and automatic focus

Nesting and focus adjustment are handled by the control rather than set by the operator. On sheets this size nesting efficiency has a direct effect on material cost per part.

Modular bed expansion

The bed is built from independent modules that bolt together, so the machine is configured to the floor available. Modules can be added later to extend the bed as the work changes, and individual sections can be removed for maintenance.

Guarding and extraction specified to site

A ground-rail machine sits open on the floor rather than inside a cabinet. Guarding, light curtains and fume extraction are specified around the installation and the building it goes into, and confirmed before the order is placed.

The bed is modular and can be built longer than 12500 mm; beds to 24 m are available. Bevel cutting width is narrower than the straight cutting width on every model. Tell us your plate sizes and we will confirm the format.
