AORE A-W7 and A-W7 Pro Robotic Welding Workstations
- 10 m track
- 2014 mm reach
- 40 m/min
- Plus or minus 0.05 mm
The A-W7 is a seven-axis robotic welding workstation on a floor track, with 3D vision and offline programming, for large steel fabrications. The A-W7 Pro carries the robot on an inverted L-shaped cantilever, widening the working envelope to 2600 mm for larger box sections and plate assemblies.
Welds are produced to programmed parameters without point-by-point teaching, and skilled welders are released from repetitive work.
Key features
Reach for large fabrications
An enclosed floor-track layout with a 10 m X-axis and 2014 mm robot reach covers crane girders, stiffened plates, brackets and bridge components. Most large workpieces are welded without repositioning.
3D vision finds the weld seam
The vision system reads weld position and angle before welding starts. Parts that are not seated exactly where the program expects are corrected automatically, absorbing normal variation in fabricated assemblies.
Program jobs away from the robot
Weld programs are built offline from an imported 3D model while the workstation continues producing. Automatic seam extraction and toolpath generation replace most point-by-point teaching.
Welding procedures ready to apply
The process library covers flat, fillet, vertical, overhead and multi-pass welding. Proven parameters are matched to each programmed joint, holding weld appearance and penetration consistent across repeat work.
Several ways to build the job model
Programming accepts imported 3D models, reverse-modelled scans or 2D drawings converted to 3D. Vision-assisted location allows fabrications to be positioned freely where CAD data is incomplete or absent.
Modular workstation, faster to install
The layout is configured to workpiece size and multi-station production from standard modules. Site assembly and commissioning are shorter than for a fully customised fixed cell.
Would robotic welding suit your work?
The A-W7 is specified for fabrication where the same joint types are welded repeatedly and welder availability is the constraint. Suitability is assessed from joint types, workpiece sizes and volumes at quotation.
