The Cosen C-780FNC is a fully automatic dual-column horizontal bandsaw for high-volume cutting of structural steel and long stock. It cuts round and square material up to 550 mm and rectangular sections up to 550 x 780 mm, with a 5° canted saw frame giving the blade progressive entry into beam, channel, RHS, tube and solid material.
The standard machine uses a 600 mm hydraulic shuttle, with automatic multiple indexing for longer cut lengths. The C-780FNC-3L adds a servo-controlled 3000 mm single-stroke shuttle with an integrated roller-feed bed, and optional front and rear hydraulic top clamps secure bundles from above for pack cutting.

5° Canted Frame on Oversized Dual Columns
The saw frame is inclined at 5°, so the blade enters structural sections progressively instead of meeting the full width at once, reducing initial tooth loading on beam, channel, RHS and tube. The heavy frame travels on oversized dual columns for stable, controlled feed through wide sections and packs.
10-Inch HMI Touchscreen Control
Cosen Smart Touchscreen Control stores up to 100 cutting jobs by length and quantity. It automatically compensates for kerf loss and calculates the required indexing cycles, allowing an entered cut list to run automatically without manual stroke calculations.
Automatic Multiple Indexing
The hydraulic shuttle vice repeatedly indexes material for cut lengths beyond its single stroke. The control calculates each feed cycle automatically, allowing long components to be produced from one programmed length.
3 m Servo Shuttle with Roller-Feed Bed (C-780FNC-3L)
The C-780FNC-3L replaces the standard hydraulic feed with a servo-controlled 3000 mm single-stroke shuttle, positioning components up to 3 m in one movement. An integrated roller-feed bed supports and advances long stock and packs through the full stroke.
Optional Hydraulic Top Clamps for Pack Cutting
Optional front and rear hydraulic top clamps hold bundled material from above while the side vices secure it laterally. This prevents tube, RHS and bar from shifting during the cut and allows multiple pieces to be processed in one cycle.
