The Titan True Cut is a hydraulic guillotine shear with a box-type welded and stress-relieved frame, motorised rake angle and blade clearance adjustment, and a servo backgauge, supplied with the Elgo P40T controller as standard. Capacities run from 6 mm x 2500 mm to 40 mm x 2500 mm and 16 mm x 8000 mm.
It suits steel merchants, general fabricators and heavy plate shops that want straight, low-distortion cuts across a range of thicknesses without manual setup between jobs. Front finger guards and rear guarding are supplied to Australian workplace safety requirements as delivered.
Key features
Box-type welded and stress-relieved frame
Fully welded box frame with vibration stress relief and annealing of the main structural components. Rigidity is maintained against the torque generated by shearing thick plate, and blade alignment does not drift over the life of the machine.
Rexroth integrated hydraulic system
Bosch Rexroth valve block with electro-hydraulic proportional pressure control and real-time oil pressure monitoring. Piping and leak points are reduced, and cutting pressure is programmed to the material rather than set manually.
Elgo P40T controller
German Elgo P40T touchscreen with programmable backgauge positioning, program storage and integrated control of stroke, rake angle and blade clearance. The Delem DAC-360T is available where full graphical programming is preferred.
Servo backgauge with programmable retract
Servo-driven backgauge on ball screw and linear guide with repeat accuracy of 0.05 mm, 800 mm/s traverse and 20 to 1000 mm range. Programmable retract clears the gauge before the cut, so long sheet is not dragged or marked.
Motorised rake angle and blade clearance
Shear angle is set by motor from 0.5 to 3.5 degrees according to material thickness, and blade clearance is adjusted from the controller. Distortion on thin material is reduced and heavy plate is cut at the correct angle without manual calibration between jobs.
Front finger guards, rear guarding and emergency stops
Front finger guards, rear safety enclosure and emergency stops on both pendant and footswitch are supplied as standard, with light curtains front and rear where the site requires them. Guarding meets Australian workplace safety requirements as delivered.
Pneumatic rear sheet support (optional)
Pneumatic support arms hold thin sheet level with the table and against the backgauge before the cut. Sag on sheet up to 6 mm is eliminated, so the measured length is the cut length.
