Guillotine vs Swing Beam
Unlike swing-beam shears which pivot the blade, the guillotine uses a parallel blade action — giving better cut quality on thicker plate and minimising distortion on longer cuts.
Thick Plate Capable
The IMS True Cut handles material up to 40mm thick — well beyond the capability of standard swing-beam machines, making it suitable for structural steel plate cutting applications.
