The GTA-5080’s fixed 7° approach angle limits the area presented to the blade during cutting, allowing the use of finer pitched blades to minimise tooth stripping and provide faster cuts with better finishes. The machine automatically senses the exact dimensions of the material — width when the vise closes, height when the Rapid Approach Arm touches — and tracks the blade through the cut accordingly.
